Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Tributestream?

Tributestream® is a service that allows loved ones to livestream memorial services. We offer a convenient platform for sharing the livestream with family and friends from around the world.

Why is the video not playing?

Certain web browsers do not automatically play the livestream. To start the video, simply tap on it and click the ‘Play’ button.

Why can't I hear anything?

Some devices may mute the audio by default. To ensure proper sound, ensure your phone or computer is unmuted, and your speakers are turned on. Depending on the viewing platform, check the volume controls within the player.

Why is the video lagging?

Despite our use of the best network hotspots and tools available, network interference can still occur. However, we guarantee to upload a polished version of the complete livestream, free of any glitches, within 72 hours of the event.

Why are there two chats?

The first chat is located below the Tributestream® livestream, enabling you to interact with other online viewers and post comments or memories to share with the family.

The second chat, accessed by clicking the Gold button on the side, is for technical support, answering any questions you may have to ensure a high-quality viewing experience

What does it mean if I get an error in the chat?

There may be different error messages that appear in the chat, such as “Offline” or “Chat Disabled.” If you see the “Offline” message before the event starts, simply refresh the page. On occasion, we may temporarily disable the chat for moderation or at the request of the family. If you encounter the “Chat Disabled” message, please contact support for assistance.
